Glossier Review!

Glossier Review!

Hello everyone!

As I’m sure you’ve seen, Glossier makeup has taken social media by storm over the past few years.  Their products boast a dewy, natural finish that enhances your best features while keeping things fresh faced.  I recently gave into the hype and purchased four products off of their website I thought would be a good starting point, and..spoiler alert…I’m obsessed.  To be honest, I had no idea what the products would look like on my own skin when I bought them, but the coverage and finish is just what I want/need.  Ever single product is moisturizing and seemingly undetectable–it just makes your skin look like its naturally amazing!

So for today’s post, I want to rate and review each product out of  1/10 as well as give s short description.  Off we go!

  1. Stretch Concealer

Currently, my skin is actually cooperating with me, so I was on the lookout for cover-up that was light instead of actually masking my natural features it just made my skin look healthier.  This does exactly that.  It has the dewiest finish I’ve ever seen, so I do need a light dusting of finishing powder after, but it gives the perfect natural, yet enhanced, effect.  To be honest, I don’t think I would use this on a bad zit I got, but it  does coverup the occasional imperfection.  I also like that it doesn’t look cake-y on a blemish. (Shade: medium 8/10)

2. Boy Brow

What can I say? It’s everything you could ever want in a brow perfecter.  I like it so much more than the brow pencils on the market because it is so authentic to your actual brow.  It actually appears to dye the hairs darker as well as slightly tint the skin underneath in order to make them look fuller.  My mom actually saw me wearing this the other day and tried it on for herself.  Needless to say she bought the product that afternoon. (Shade: Brown 10/10)

P.S. Ignore my cut up hand…I fell off my bike….:/

3. Cloud Paint

This stuff makes you look so rosy cheeked and doll-like and I love it.  It gives you a fresh faced look, and I especially appreciate that it doesn’t add definition to your pores.  I feel like some blushes add color, but also show a lot of unwanted texture, and this blush doesn’t do that. (Color: Puff 8/10)

4. Rose Balm Dotcom

Hands down the best chapstick out there.  Its thick, it doesn’t move, it adds a glossy look that doesn’t get caught up in your hair…it’s simply the best! (10/10)

Well that about wraps it up!  The only other make-up I wear is a bit of mascara and some finishing powder!  Glossier truly exceeded my expectations.

Have a good Sunday!
