5 Ways to Shake A Bad Mood

5 Ways to Shake A Bad Mood

I really dislike being in a bad mood, as I’m sure most people do.  It affects how you act toward your friends and strangers and can ruin not just your day but that of people around you.  I wanted to try and figure out, not just for all of you but also for me, what the best ways were to shake a gross mood. It’s hard to figure out what will change your perspective, but after putting some thought into it, I wrote down the following ideas which tend to consistently work for me. I’d love to know what you guys do as well!

  1. Listen to an upbeat playlist or a happy song.

  2. Sit outside for a little bit.  The outdoors always lifts my mood, and like I’ve mentioned before, I love going on walks.

  3. Go be with people. I lean toward extroversion, so being around people and having a fun conversation usually helps me.

  4. Start a new project—whatever will get your creativity going and inspire you. The best projects are the ones that get you excited.

  5. Exercise! This one’s a bit obvious, but endorphins can help.
